Lightning

To start my day, my alarm did not go off. Still had enough time to get to work if I were really fast. It was already 34 when I left...so bloody HOT. That was at 7:30 this morning. Due to the heat I wear a skirt  a long billowy one. I wrapped it up in a rubber band....however....I did not realize it came undone.Of course it got caught in  my tire. I hear RIPE a slip second before my bike dead halts. I am on a narrow street with care wizzing by and I can't get it out.....once out I went to owrk and ripped the rest off. It is a short skirt now, not bad looking. Lucked out on that. When I get to work, my big boss, chocho sensei, takes me to my room, tells me I did not clean well enough. Which is true...but I had a million and one things to do, along two long meetings. Going back into the office I had four poeple ask me things about where stuff was,I had no idea about, but they seem to think I should.   The rest of the day went on uneventful. Until POOL time . 18 three year olds, and me. I have to get the room clean from lunch pass out communication forms, help gather their back packs.  OH and get them ALL in their bathing suits. Now getting them IN them not as hard. Getting them out is SO much harder.  Normally there is a Japanese teacher to help me....no not today...
After that I relaxed in the ACed office and got work done in there.
When work was over,  I needed to go get a bike I left at the park.....So I had a friend take me in their car. When I got there the tires were flat.....so I rode anyway. As I am ridding VERY slow, it begins to rain big fat drops of rain. The heavens open in a down pour. I would like to remember by this time it is 40 out.......


All of a sudden lightning strikes the ground in front of me. I screamed and fell backwards of my bike. It did not hit me, but it shock the ground where I was at. I have never seen lighting that close.....I was a little freaked out. So Japanese people asked if I am ok. I was fine.....

So yeah...pizza and beer time.

OH also all of the wheat fields are not rice patties...not I fell like I live in Japan....

Reality

There once was a rabbit who mocked a tortoise for being slow. The tortoise indignantly challenged the rabbit to a race. As the rabbit was built for seed, he won. Moral: Life is an unfair endeavor.

I am now a regular at my bar JAM!  The bar tender is a tattoo artist who did all of her own tattoos...and the cook lives below me! 

I also had tacos!!! Home made ones.....SO good!

We have  been practicing for a month; marching,relay and three dances.....
Rehearsals were the worst thing in the world! Hell on skates I tells ya.

Today was FUN though...crazy....but fun.
